Today’s business life is impossible without business trips therefore without hotel service. According to their accommodations hotels are divided into categories. In general there are very expensive, not very expensive, middle class and cheap hotels.

Very expensive hotels are called de Luxe. To pay for luxurious suites here is possible only for oil magnates and other rich.

Ordinary businessmen prefer to stay at middle class hotels. Single rooms, twin rooms or suites, all with private baths are at their disposal.

In some countries breakfast is included into a hotel charge. Sometimes the charge per person may include breakfast, lunch and evening meal. Usually there is a restaurant, a bar at a hotel. Room service includes provision of soap, towels, bed-making and cleaning.

In some hotels especially in this country you can find such hotel services as an information desk, car parking space, exchange operation, dentist service, hairdressing saloon, sauna and others. But you must pay for these kinds of service extra.

You may pay for the hotel accommodation when you are checking in or on day of departure. Hotel accounts may be paid by cheques or credit cards or in cash.

One more thing you have to remember: rooms must be vacated by 11 a.m. on day of departure.

So, if you reserved a room at the hotel in advance you arrive at a hotel, greet a receptionist and introduce yourself. She checks your reservation, gives you a visitor’s book which you have to sign. Besides you have to fill in a hotel form. Then you choose the type of a room desired and specify type of breakfast which can be English or Continental. The room-clerk, gives you a key, says what floor your room is on. You thank her and go to your room.
