We are looking for participants, interested in youth exchange on democracy.
A youth exchange will take place in Rustavi, Georgia from 30th March till 9th of April 2015 including travel dates. Interested participants who fit the profile should fill an application form and send it before 15th of February 2015 to: info@i4dc.ge

About project:
Aim:
Main aim of the project 'Talk Democracy, Walk Democracy' is to empower young people towards democratic values and democratic citizenship through exploring the symbols and tools of democracy in different societies.
Objectives:
Ø to share knowledge about core democratic institutions and values of any democratic country, such as court, parliament, media and mechanisms of human rights protection;
Ø to encourage participants for active democratic citizenship in the future; Implement a range of non-formal learning approaches that will enhance participants' capacity for being active citizen of and for a democratic country;
Ø to provide young people with an opportunity to present their culture, learn about others and share their specific traditions;
Ø to exchange best practices in youth policy and democratic institutions;
Ø To develop competences of participants in the spheres of: human rights protection mechanisms, democratic institutions, cultural diversity and youth policy.
Main motivation and a goal of the project is to bring together young people from different countries with different democratic models and give them a space and an opportunity to share their knowledge, experiences and attitudes towards different fields of democracy.
Who can apply:
Young people from Georgia, Ukraine, Sweden, Spain, Croatia and Estonia.
Profile of participants:
Ø Age of participants: 18-29 (there is no age limit for leaders).
Ø Number of participants: 36 (From each country will be selected 6 persons – 5 participants + 1 leader).
Ø To be able communicate in English.
Ø Possibility to attend the meeting from 30th March till 9th of April 2015.
Ø Participants of the project should have a basic knowledge about democratic institutions in their own countries and be able to share it with others.
Ø Priority will be given to young people with economic constraints.
Methodology:
The whole flow of the program is based on non-formal education approaches. During the sessions will be used: getting-to-know each other, building common ground, presentations, role games, concepts, symbols and aspects of democracy, organizational expo and etc. whole project is based on intercultural and non-formal learning, have participatory and experiential approaches. Active participation of all participants, creation of the learning space, holistic principles, the development of intercultural learning.
Technical conditions:
· Group of 36 participants; from each country 6 persons – 5 participants plus one leader;
· All lodging expenses for participants will be covered;
· There is no participation fee;
· Transfer from Tbilisi International airport to the venue place will be provided;
· We are covering expenses for flight tickets considering Erasmus + calculation:

| · Participants who will need invitation letters should indicate it in the application form;
· Participants need to bring invoices of purchasing flight tickets; if you are buying a ticket online bank transfer proof document; (otherwise a reimbursement of your flights won’t be possible);
· All participants needs to keep boarding passes and bring it to Georgia, afterward boarding passes of back way needs to be sent by post to applicant organization in Sweden; (otherwise a reimbursement of your flights won’t be possible);
· Participants and group leader needs to prepare a short presentation about democracy in their country and how youth policy is working in their local realities;
