UTERUS

*Risk factors of endometrial carcinoma include:

.Estrogen therapy

.Obesity

.Adenomatous hyperplasia

* drug causes endometrial hyperplasia is estrogen

*The most common symptom of endometrial hyperplasia is Vaginal bleeding

* Endometrial carcinoma is most common in more than 6o yrs women

*The primary mode of treatment for endometrial carcinoma confined to the uterine body is Hysterectomy

*Symptoms of uterine prolapse are the following:

.Retention of urine

.Backache

.Vaginal discharge

.Vaginal bleeding

.Heaviness in the vagina

*May occur in menopausal women:

.The breast tend to decrease in size

.The uterus atrophies

.The vaginal mucosa becomes thin

.The pH of the vagina rises
