What is asthma? What are it types?

Asthma is characterized by inflammation of the bronchial tubes with increased production of sticky secretions inside the tubes. People with asthma experience symptoms when the airways tighten, inflame, or fill with mucus.. Common symptoms and signs include:

§ Wheezing

§ Coughing

§ Breathing difficulty

§ Tightness in the chest

§ Worsening symptoms at night

§ Worsening symptoms due to cold air

§ Symptoms while exercising

§ Symptoms after exposure to allergens

What are the symptoms of asthma?

The symptoms of asthma consist of a triad of dyspnea, cough and wheezing.In its most typical form asthma is an episodic disease and all three symptoms coexist. Attacs often occur at night, for reasons which are not clear.
