The mouth, buccal cavity, or oral cavity is the first portion of the alimentary canal(digesstive system) that receives food and begins digestion by mechanically breaking up the solid food particles into smaller pieces and mixing them with saliva. The mouth is normally moist, and is lined with a mucous membrane. The mucous membrane (oral mucosa) is epithelium lining the inside of the mouth. The lips mark the transition from the mucous membrane to skin, which covers most of the body.
The oral cavity is located in the frontal part of the skull within the upper and lower jaws. The first space of the mouth is the mouth cavity, bounded laterally and in front by the alveolar arches (containing the teeth), and by the isthmus of the fauces. The oral cavity is also known as the mouth which swallows food and drinks that go down to the person's stomach. The mouth contains the lips, the teeth, the tongue, the alveoli, the hard palate, the soft palate.
2.
Infants are born with a sucking reflex, by which they instinctively know to suck for nourishment using their lips and jaw.The mouth swallows food and drinks that go down to the person's stomach The mouth plays an important role in speech (it is part of the vocal apparatus), facial expression, eating, drinking (especially with a straw) &breathing. In addition to its primary role as the beginning of the digestive system, in humans the mouth also plays a significant role in communication. While primary aspects of the voice are produced in the throat, the tongue, lips, and jaw are also needed to produce the range of sounds included in human language. Another non-digestive function of the mouth is its role in secondary social and/or sexual activity, such as kissing. The physical appearance of the mouth and lips plays a part in defining sexual attractiveness.

3.
According to etiquette, the mouth is kept closed, especially when chewing.
Lips can be adorned with lipstick or lip gloss, although in most cultures this is typically only practiced by females. Both men and women, however, apply lip balm in order to soothe chapped or dry lips.
Piercings in or around the mouth have been made popular by the younger generations. Piercings on the lip or tongue are not uncommon. The uvula piercing is also making a greater appearance, though it still remains a relatively rare piercing and there are still many piercers who refuse to do it.
4. The philtrum is the vertical groove in the upper lip, formed where the nasomedial and maxillary processes meet during embryodevelopment. When these processes fail to fuse fully, a hare’s lip and/or cleft palate can result.
The nasolabial folds are the deep creases of tissue that extend from the nose to the sides of the mouth. One of the first signs of age on the human face is the increase in prominence of the nasolabial folds.

Self-Improvement Test. Use the most appropriate tense and voice forms and make up your own story on the analogy.
Teeth (singular tooth) 1 (be) small whitish structures found in the jaws (or mouths) of many vertebrates that 2 (use) to tear, scrape, and chew food. The bottom teeth are used more for the grinding of food and the top front teeth are mainly used for biting. The roots of teeth 3 (cover) by gums. Teeth 4 (not make) of bone, but of tissues of varying density and hardness.
Development
Humans usually 5 (have) 20primary teeth (also called deciduous, baby, or milk teeth) and 32 permanent teeth. Primary teeth 6 (erupt) into the mouth from around six months until two years of age. These teeth are the only ones in the mouth until a person 7 (be) about six years old. At that time, the first permanent tooth 8 (erupt). This stage, during which a person 9 (have) a combination of primary and permanent teeth, 10 (know) as the mixed stage. The mixed stage 11 (last) until the last primary tooth 12 (lose) and the remaining permanent teeth erupt into the mouth.
1. Read and translate the rest part of the text “Teeth”:
Anatomy
Among primary teeth, 10 are found in the (upper) maxilla and the other 10 in the (lower) mandible. Teeth are classified as incisors [ɪn'saɪzə], canines ['keɪnaɪn ], and molars ['məulə]. In the primary set of teeth, there are two types of incisors, centrals and laterals, and two types of molars, first and second. All primary teeth are replaced with permanent counterparts except for molars, which are replaced by permanent premolars. Among permanent teeth, 16 are found in the maxilla with the other 16 in the mandible. Third molars are commonly called "wisdom teeth" and may never erupt into the mouth or form at all.
The anatomic crown of a tooth is the area covered in enamel above the cementoenamel junction. The majority of the crown is composed of dentin with the pulp chamber in the center. The crown is within bone before eruption. After eruption, it is almost always visible. The anatomic root is found below the cementoenamel junction and is covered with cementum. As with the crown, dentin composes most of the root, which normally have pulp canals. A tooth may have multiple roots or just one root. Canines and most premolars, except for maxillary first premolars, usually have one root. Maxillary first premolars and mandibular molars usually have two roots. Maxillary molars usually have three roots.

I. Reаd and translate the rest part of the text “Teeth”:
Parts
Enamel is the hardest and most highly mineralized substance of the body and is one of the four major tissues which make up the tooth, along with dentin, cementum, and dental pulp. It is normally visible and must be supported by underlying dentin. The normal color of enamel varies from light yellow to grayish white.
Dentin is a mineralized connective tissue between enamel or cementum and the pulp chamber. It’s porous, yellow-hued material. Because it is softer than enamel, it decays more rapidly but still acts as a protective layer and supports the crown of the tooth.
Cementum is a specialized bony substance covering the root of a tooth. The principal role of cementum is to serve as a medium by which the periodontal ligaments can attach to the tooth for stability.
The dental pulp is the central part of the tooth filled with soft connective tissue. This tissue contains blood vessels and nerves that enter the tooth from a hole at the apex of the root. The pulp is commonly called "the nerve" of the tooth.
