On the 4-th week The germ disc becomes like a convex structure. The endodermic layer transforms into the primitive gut, which is communicates with the yolk sac by viteline duct

Histogenesis:

The mesodermal cells form somites on both sides of notochord. There are 43-44 pairs of somites.

The dorsal part of somites is divided into 3 groups of cells:

-medial part forms sclerotome (1)

-middle part forms myotom (2)

-lateral part forms dermatome (3)

The ventral part of somites forms:

-splanchnopleura (4)

-somatopleura (5)

-coelomic cavity between them (6)
