2. Purpose:

- Create the students' knowledge about the role and importance of genetic factors in ontogenetic development of man;

- To develop the motivation of the need to study the genetic mechanisms of ontogenesis

- To develop communication skills in the analysis of situational challenges to violations of the genetic mechanisms of ontogeny.

- To reveal the role and significance of mutations of homeobox genes (homeobox) in the occurrence of hereditary diseases.
