3. Educational Tasks:

- reveal the essence of polygenic inheritance of signs;

- reveal the essence and the mechanisms of development of polygenic diseases;

- familiarize students with modern molecular-genetic mechanisms of development of polygenic diseases;

- reveal the essence of polygenicdiseases from the clinical point of view as diseases with congenital genetic predisposition;

- form students’ ability to analyze and recognize genetic predisposition to widely spread human diseases.
